This class covers not only the physical development, but also the mental and emotional changes that occur during this transitional time. It addresses what is normal and what may not be. The goal of the class is to thoroughly explain the menstrual cycle in a simple way that does not mention fertilization at all so as not to lead to other questions that you may feel your child is not ready for. All period products are introduced with feminine pads and tampons being explained in detail. Screen health and safety about predators along with inappropriate pictures is introduced.
